Hands-On Training

— OUR STORY

Built on Community.
Defined by Clinical Excellence.

Built on Community.
Defined by Clinical Excellence.

Clinical METS was founded on a simple conviction: real physicians are trained at the bedside. Lectures matter, but the most meaningful learning happens with patients, under pressure, guided by experienced clinicians.

We built METS to close that gap. Through deep partnerships with community clinics and regional hospital systems, we've created a training environment where medical students — domestic and international — get the kind of real clinical exposure that actually advances careers. If you want supervised hours, structured evaluations, and letters of recommendation that residency programs respect — you're in the right place.

Community-Integrated Training

Every rotation is embedded within an active community clinic or hospital partner — not a simulation center. You're in a real healthcare environment from day one.

Board-Certified Supervision

Your supervising physician isn't just a name on a form. At METS, every attending is board-certified, clinically active, and personally committed to your development.

Built for IMGs

We didn't add an international track as an afterthought — METS was designed from the ground up to support international medical graduates navigating the U.S. clinical system.

— THE METS DIFFERENCE

The Difference is in the Details

Clinical METS immerses you in a dynamic healthcare environment where supervising physicians are actively committed to your development, and each rotation is structured to advance your career in meaningful ways.

Real Clinical Settings

Each METS rotation occurs in a real clinical setting—no simulations or observation-only experiences. Students participate directly in patient care, working alongside licensed physicians with real patients.

Community Partnerships

Our clinic and hospital partners aren't just hosting you — they're invested in training the next generation of physicians. That shared commitment creates a learning environment that's rare in clinical education.

International Welcome

METS was built with international medical graduates in mind. From documentation guidance to dedicated IMG support, we've removed the barriers that make U.S. clinical access difficult for internationally trained physicians.

Structured Evaluations

Every rotation ends with a formal evaluation and a letter of recommendation from your supervising attending — written on institutional letterhead and structured to meet residency program requirements worldwide.
